How did I get here
After surviving 21 roller coaster years in the concrete jungle of New York City, my partner and I decided it was time for an adventure of epic proportions. We ditched the 8 million people, the chaotic high-rise apartment in Times Square, and the daily grind for something sweeter. And where did we find it? In the picturesque land of pasta and vino, none other than Italy! We stumbled upon our own piece of heaven in Umbria, the green heart of the country. So long skyscrapers, hello 200-year-old farmhouse nestled among rolling hills, olive groves, and medieval towns. It’s like we swapped the sounds of honking horns for the symphony of chirping birds. Talk about a breath of fresh air!

WHY 21 ?
And why, you may wonder the number 21? This profound number not only signifies the significant milestone at which I bid a heartfelt adieu to my cherished mother, but also represents the accumulation of years amidst the bustling thoroughfares of resolute New York City, which ultimately guided me on a transformative pilgrimage to the serene landscapes of Italy. Life, akin to an introspective carousel, often leads us down unforeseen paths, imparting invaluable wisdom in the most poignant and unexpected of ways. But ultimately I settled on the number 21 as it is the address that graces our majestic abode nestled amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the idyllic region of Umbria. However in numerology, the number 21 is associated with creativity, independence, and personal growth. It is believed to be a number that signifies positive change and expansion of one’s horizons, so it’s quiet apropos don’t you think?
WHY CENTRO STORICO ?
Imagine a scenario: while traveling through the beautiful landscapes of Italy, you notice a familiar sight—the “Centro Storico” sign. This phrase refers to the central historic district, which represents the essence of a place. In these special areas, you can experience timeless traditions, incredible art, rich culture, and delicious food that all reflect the spirit of Italy.
