Since retiring from the hospitality industry in 2015, we have found ourselves busier than ever. Our days are now filled with hosting numerous friends and family from different corners of the world in our beautifully restored farmhouse. It brings us immense joy to share the magic of ‘La Dolce Vita’ with our loved ones.

Recently, an incredible opportunity presented itself when we had the chance to acquire the cottage next door. We saw it as a natural progression to create a vacation home, a sanctuary where visitors can also experience the wonders of ‘La Dolce Vita’. And thus, Grove Cottage was born. It is an exclusive and modern retreat, designed to provide comfort and relaxation. It serves as the perfect haven for not only our friends and family but also for anyone who wishes to explore and discover the beauty of this unspoiled part of the world. Moving away from the hectic pace of our careers and embracing a simpler way of life, guided by our deepest desires, is something many of us dream of. Italy, a country that holds a special place in our hearts, came to mind as the perfect destination.

THE COTTAGE

From the outside, this charming cottage is constructed using Città della Pieve’s renowned red brick, giving it an air of timelessness. However, stepping inside, you will discover a beautifully modernized interior that offers a cozy open-plan layout. It has been thoughtfully designed to provide a warm and inviting space, whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with your loved ones or a romantic escape for two.

Located on a single level, our charming retreat boasts a beautifully designed kitchen, a cozy dining area, a comfortable lounge, and a luxurious bathroom. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to provide you with all the comforts of home. The bedrooms offer a serene atmosphere with cordless phone charging points, chestnut blackout shutters, and exquisite linens, ensuring a tranquil night’s rest.

Natural light fills the rooms through the generous windows, offering breathtaking views of the majestic countryside that will transport you to the enchanting landscapes depicted by the renowned artist, Perugino.

Indulge in outdoor dining with our convenient Weber BBQ system, or savor a meal on our infinity terrace, where a stunning travertine marble dining table awaits under the shade of a large umbrella, providing a serene spot surrounded by untouched nature.

Our charming cottage boasts breathtaking vistas of ancient olive groves, overlooking the picturesque Tiber Valley and the majestic Apennine mountains. It is nestled just a short stroll away from the quaint town of Città della Pieve. This medieval gem, with its roots in Etruscan-Roman heritage, captivates visitors with its delightful red brick architecture, captivating frescoes, and vibrant annual festivals. Notably, it was also the hometown of the illustrious Italian Renaissance painter, Pietro Vannucci, affectionately known as “Il Perugino,” who was the master of the renowned artist Raffaello.

Imbued with rich history, our beloved town boasts an abundance of churches, museums, and a tourist office brimming with captivating suggestions to enchant you.
