PARMA’S CHRISTMAS JAMBOREE
The new Christmas Edition is set to bring a seasonal sprinkle of 1940s and 1950s American music and culture to Parma.

Christmas gets vintage in Parma as the Summer Jamboree works its magic and transforms into the Winter Jamboree! Get ready to experience an authentic American vintage Christmas with 40s and 50s music, dancing, culture, shopping, and a whole lot of festive fun.
Summer Jamboree is the world’s biggest International Festival of 40s and 50s American music and culture. It has been the most eagerly-awaited event of the summer in Senigallia for the last 23 years, and now also has an “on the Lake” edition in Lugano, Switzerland. This year it is set to land in Parma with a fabulous new format that will make this Christmas unmissable and unforgettable, in cooperation with Fiere di Parma, City of Parma and Emilia-Romagna Region.
From 7 to 10 December 2023 Fiere di Parma will host the very first Winter Jamboree Christmas edition #1 in 3 of its pavilions: All the characteristic ingredients that make this Festival unique will come to life… a select vintage market and a whole lot of Rock’n’Roll in a brand-new Christmas edition! Yes, Winter Jamboree aims to be THE place to be to share that good ol’ Christmas spirit. Not just for faithful 40s & 50s American music and culture fans, but for one-and-all – kids, teenagers, grown-ups and golden agers alike – to share the wonder of that extraordinary and inspiring era in a new, joyful and cheerful experience.
One of the cornerstones of the Festival will be the Rockin’ Christmas Vintage Market where, from morning till night it will be possible to buy Christmas presents, household goods, clothing, memorabilia and many food and wine products made in Parma, Unesco Creative City of Gastronomy and capital city of the Food Valley. A real Christmas Vintage Market accompanied by the sounds of Rock’n’Roll, Swing, Country, Rockabilly, Rhythm’n’Blues, Hillbilly, Doo-wop and Western Swing Music, and of course the great Christmas classics of yesteryear. Perhaps not everyone knows that the biggest Christmas hits of all time were written and recorded in that period. Those cult classics that are known and loved by all, just as much today as when they were first heard on the radio many moons ago.
There will be great live Concerts at the Pala Verdi with artists from all over the world, DJ sets, Dance Shows, an international Dance Camp for those who want to learn how to move to the rhythm of Rock’n’Roll, a Burlesque Show, and a Tattoo Convention with the best old school tattoo artists working from noon to dawn.
And to refuel between a song and a dance there will be an array of select Vintage style food trucks and plenty of delicious food.
